Check In / Check Out

Check-in time begins at 4:00 pm.

In some cases we have the ability to offer early check-ins starting at 2pm for an additional fee. These are available on a first come first serve basis and are not always available.

We aim to make check out as easy as possible.

  • Please remove all food from the refrigerator
  • Place all trash (in bags) in exterior cans
  • Load and start the dishwashers
  • Close and lock all windows and doors
  • Tidy up outside including the decks, yard and dock area
  • Lock the door when you leave

It's as simple as that

StayLakeNorman is not responsible for any items left in a vacation home. We will attempt to locate items reported as left behind and, if found, return them to you. If not claimed within 30 days, lost and found items will be discarded.

Check-out time is at 10:00 am.

In some cases we have the ability to offer late check-outs for 12pm for an additional fee. These are available on a first come first serve basis and are not always available.

We use a self check-in process at all of our properties. You will receive your check-in instructions 10 days before your arrival with your door access code and home address.

Your door code will activate at your check in time, then the home is all yours!

What's Included?

We aim to make your stay as comfortable as possible and reducing the amount of items you need to bring with you. The following amenities are standard to all homes unless specifically noted int he home description:

Limited amounts of laundry soap, dishwasher soap, trash bags, coffee, coffee creamer, paper towels, toilet paper, and dish detergent are included.

Our team provides freshly laundered bed linens, bathroom towels, hand towels, wash cloths, bath mats, kitchen towels, beach towels, and blankets for your stay.

All beds excluding pull-out sofas, trundle beds, or murphy beds will be made prior to your arrival.


For those vacationing longer than one week, mid-stay cleaning and linen services are available at an additional charge. These services must be requested in advance. Please contact our office as soon as possible if you would like to make arrangements.

Unfortunately we cannot guarantee a TV in every sleeping area on the property. For specific questions on a property please reach out to our reservation team.

Booking Information

Booking directly is free and will always help save you money by getting the most updated rates and availability, and also by avoiding any third party fees.  You can book with us over the phone or on our direct website.

Not to mention, our team of property experts will help you find the perfect home to enjoy.

We have some homes that are very close to each other and are great for multiple or large families!  Give us a call at (704) 924-0510 ext. 1 for help finding the best home pairings.

If you’re booking more than 60 days before you check-in, we require 25% upon booking then the remaining balance is due at 60 days prior to your check-in date.  If you’re booking less than 60 days before you check-in, we will require 100% due upon booking.

You must be at least 26 years old to make a reservation.

What is not allowed?

Many of our driveways don't have enough room for an RV or camper. In the event one does, you may park in the driveway although at no time may someone be occupying the RV or camper. 

Out of courtesy of our neighbors, we do not allow any weddings or events on our properties; however, we would love to be your accommodations!

Cancellation

In the event you need to cancel, here is our policy:

If you request to cancel your reservation 60+ days prior to the arrival date, you will receive a refund of the total rental payment received less the Processing Fee of 2.9% of the total amount of the booking will be applied.

If you request to cancel between 30 and 60 days prior to check-in, you will receive a refund of 50% of total booking. There will be no 2.9% processing fee added to the refunded amount.

If a Guest requests a cancellation between 8 and 29 days prior to check-in, the Company will refund 25% of total booking. There will be no 2.9% processing fee added to the refunded amount.

If a Guest requests a cancellation between 0 and 7 days prior to check-in, no refund will be offered.

If you request to cancel your reservation within 24 hours of booking confirmation, you will receive a refund the total rental payment received less the Processing Fee of 2.9% of the total amount of the booking despite the number of days until check-in.
