Pathway Bay

My family-ages 10-77 plus a couple of dogs- celebrated the holidays at Pathway Bay. Stay Lake Norman even provided a decorated Christmas tree. The house was clean, comfortable and everything we needed was provided. The view of the lake, firepit and kayaks added to our fun and enjoyment. The folks at Stay Lake Norman were very quick to respond to the few questions we had. We hope to come back during the summer.

This is a spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated home. The Stay Lake Norman staff members are great communicators and are easily accessible for questions or concerns. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely choose to rent this home again.

Checking in to Pathway Bay, we found the place was very clean. The beds were comfortable. The place is roomy and there are plenty of places for people to sit. The kitchen is well laid out. We had a problem with the downstairs ice maker, but the repair person was there to fix it in less than a half hour. The views out the main room window are spectacular. We could watch the osprey in his nest and the boats that went by. The best thing was watching the sunrises and sunsets from the comfort of the living room. It’s a great place to stay with family.

From the time you walk in the front door you know you are in a very special place. This home gave us a big hug when we walked inside. Spacious and absolutely wonderful. Having the lower level have it own half kitchen was just perfect. We ended up renting a jet ski and pontoon boat from CS Rentals. Just a fifteen minute drive from the house and a five minute jet ski or boat ride away from the house. Fuel was quite expensive for the jet ski ($180 to fill up twice). The pontoon boat was only $128 for 3/4 of a tank. Don't forget to rent a tube. That is a must! CS Rental folks were extremely helpful and very polite. StayLakeNorman agents and manager were terrific. A bottle of wine was left to us as a welcome to Lake Norman. The home was very nicely decorated and the rooms were just beautiful. We had 10 guests and had plenty of space. We did use the kayaks once, did not use the firepit as the temps were too hot. But everyone did use the hot tub in the evenings. It was a big hit. We did have an issue with the hot water not being hot enough,the upper floor did not have hot water, and one of the TV's would not turn on. Management was notified and both issues were rectified immediately. I actually was impresses with how fast they responded and took care of these minor issues. The first step inside the door of the breathtaking Pathway Bay home revealed a frame-worthy view of Lake Norman. Once settled in, the home’s tasteful layout provided our extended family’s (3 families, 11 people) privacy when desired and expansive communal areas when we wanted to all be together. We relaxed, we played, we laughed, we shared meals, and we enjoyed every minute. The home’s waterfront location, stylish amenities, and proximity to excellent restaurants and shopping ensured that our every need had already been anticipated. StayLakeNorman communicated via text throughout our stay to check on us. These texts were unobtrusive and appreciated. One text even warned us of an impending severe thunderstorm and enabled to secure any personal items we may have left on the dock. Side note: the storm’s approach was dramatic, and watching it from our deck was thrilling. You’ll want for nothing at Pathway Bay. Except more time.

Phenomenal lakefront property! We've stayed here twice in the past 10 months and loved every day there. Close proximity to groceries and restaurants. Clean property big enough to take the whole family (and then some) and never feel crowded. We will keep coming back for sure.

House was lovely and rental agency was top notch. We had 13 people from 80 to 14 years of age. House accommodated all with ample space to spread out and not disturb others. We had a fantastic time and will definitely return. Rental agency was very responsive and supplied the house with plenty of toiletries, coffee, kitchen supplies and towels which was a nice touch. Great stay!!

We stayed 4 nights with 3 families. Excellent location, home is updated and full of amenities. Rental company was excellent, very responsive and attentive. We loved fishing and relaxing on the dock. Boating couldn’t have been easier. Steep driveway, somewhat challenging with boat trailer but we figured it out. Use of owners garage was a huge perk. Can’t say enough good things about this home and the rental company. Will definitely be back.

My son was getting married and I wanted to treat his groomsmen and friends from high school! It was an amazing weekend and will be a great memory! My daughter and his three friends that are his best girlfriends all stayed in the garage apartment with the 4 twins! There was plenty of room for all of them and the whole house quiet beautiful!

Hi, this home was amazing. It was easy to find, easy to enjoy and spacious and comfortable. The furnishings were nice, clean and beautifully arranged. The kitchen was well-stocked and the amenities satisfied all of our desires. The access to nature was priceless! It catered to everyone in my family, I will definitely return!

During this time with utmost caution, our family chose to spend Thanksgiving together. We all quarantined prior to arrival with guarantees that the house would be completely cleaned and sterilized. We could tell the house had been cleaned before our arrival. We were a crew of 4 families, with children ranging from 12yrs-7mos. The house meet each families needs perfectly. Our stay was perfectly comfortable. We will definitely book the Pathway Bay home again, along with other properties within the Stay Lake Norman portfolio.

Pathway Bay was a beautiful house that is updated and spacious. The backyard and lake access was just amazing and well equipped with kayaks and paddle board. The fire pit was a hit ( stop and buy your firewood prior) as was the sparkling clean hot tub. Plenty of beach towels and chairs. Beds were super comfy and bathrooms were updated. No complaints - will rent from Stay Lake Norman again!
