This lake is one of the best we’ve ever stayed in and we do this every year! Beyond the feel of a luxury resort in each and every room, the kitchen, the living room all of it is well appointed comfortable and has a view from just about every single room! The communication was incredible. The house has it all. It was a wonderful, wonderful stay.!

Shari is an absolute gem! She left. personal note for us (we were there under stressful circumstances) Her place is amazing. The house was not as clean as it could have been, but thst was NOT her fault! The rental agency was very responsive. Ideal layout and comfy furniture! Easy for my 80/90 year old parents to navigate. Would definitely stay again!

This home was beautiful, but very comfortable. It was very quiet, as well. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was great...everything was spot-on, including the communication with the host, who was able to accommodate some special needs for us. All in all, an absolutely perfect experience, we highly recommend it!!

Sandy Shore was a beautiful home, with lovely furnishing and a spacious layout. Easy access to the dock, private beach, and well maintained dock made this lake getaway a blast. The home is well maintained and stocked with supplies, the amenities for the kitchen and bathrooms was awesome. Overall, StayLakeNorman was excellent to work with and the whole process was smooth!

Sandy Shores is a beautiful home with a modern design and spacious layout. It easily accommodated our family of 2 adults and 4 children, and the kids enjoyed having their own space with the en suite bathrooms. The amenities such as dish soap, garbage bags, plastic wrap, foil, shampoo, conditioner, body soap, hand soap, garbage bags, toilet paper, etc. was amazing! The house is neat and well stocked. The cleanliness was medium, overall good but there are places that need some more deep cleaning (showers and general walls need wiped, washing curtains).

It is probably the time of year we go to LN, but the lake is so quiet and peaceful mid-April. Knowing that the house that we will be in is well maintained and nicely appointed just helps the feeling of serenity. Perfect for my family.

This is my family’s second time at Sandy Shore. It’s the perfect lake house, especially if you have younger children. The way the beach is set up is amazing for kids. There is so much to do outside. And then there’s the house, that is absolutely gorgeous. It has everything you could need in it. Amazing property and company is very easy to work with.

Very nice, very clean. The set up was great as we had a 6 month old baby we put upstairs with her parents , it was very quiet. Nice view of the lake, well maintained dock. Kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. Supplies of soap, detergent, TP and other things were adequate . We did have to buy additional trash bags due to your rule of all trash in bags. We would consider staying there again

We all loved the beautiful house and amenities. We made use of the pack n’play and high chair for the 2 yr old, loved the ease for having multiple cooks in the kitchen! Was very convenient to have en-suite bathrooms for adults. Note: the faucet over cooktop leaked at the faucet valve. Dishwasher ran out of rinse agent which took longer time for each use.

The Sandy Shore home was absolutely perfect. Aside from the most perfect view, the home had everything you could need with it. It was plenty of space for our family. The yard, beach, and hot tub were maintained perfectly and easy to enjoy. The home was a perfect location on the lake yet not far from town. Highly recommend both the home and StayLakeNorman.

the property management company, staylakenorman, made this process very easy and user friendly. the minute I booked the house I was receiving helpful emails about the house, the lake, the community, and just about everything you could think of. I signed the paperwork electronically and submitted it and was done. I was also immediately sent a message from the same company that also rented boats. I was able to rent a boat and be done with the paperwork within 20 minutes of clicking submit on VRBO to rent the house. they deliver a boat right to the dock before you get there and pick it up when you’re gone. great boat for family. we chose a tri-took but it had a 150 on it so we’re able to pull the kids on the tube even with the boat having 9 people on it. perfect set up. the house is also very close to a marina for gassing up the boat the management company would send me text messages the two weeks leading up to our arrival. each one was something to consider for our trip. one was an entire booklet about the house and all of the amenities, and also included links to dining in the area, grocery stores close by, pharmacies, medical services, things to do for the family/kids, lake maps, just anything anything you could need to know for a great trip. they made check in very easy. they sent an email with check-in time. and they had 6 digit code on the email. you entered that code into the lock on the door and you were in and done. the house was perfect. bedrooms were better than even the photos on VRBO. great common area/living room for everybody to hang out. the kitchen was perfect and a good dining table that can fit your whole group. the kitchen had everything you’d need as far as cooking, even a lot of spices that we didn’t have to go buy when we cooked. tons of fridge space with the main fridge and then behind the small bar area in the living room there is a big beverage fridge and a wine fridge. the outdoor area was perfect. a nice little seating area with string lights up by the house, a great small dining table for outdoor breakfasts, and then a sand beach area - one side with adirondack chairs and a fire pit - the other side with the water entry to swim right there in a huge area where it was no more than 6 feet deep probably 40-50 feet off of land. the kids had a blast in that area. we used the kayaks and the paddle board. and the dock was perfect to fish from. this was an excellent property. HIGHLY recommend.

Sandy Shore was extremely clean, had all the amenities, and was well appointed - including kitchen utensils, great comfy furniture inside and out, a great grill, and water toys. I couldn't recommend it more and our family looks forward to renting again next year.

The pictures do not give this home justice!! What a stunner! The Home is so beautiful and clean! We had 4 couples and had room to spare. Each room is more beautiful than the next. They thought of everything! The cooks in the group were thrilled with the Kitchen and how the owners supplied everything they could ever need! The wide open floor plan gave everyone room to spread out.. that is if you could pull yourself inside- because the location on the lake was amazing! We rented a pontoon boat thru them as well! Amazing service- dropped off and picked up with in-person instructions on use! We stayed mostly in front of our home as it was a perfect place to kneeboard, tube and waterski (all provided!). The men found fishing spots easy and the marine gas station is very close! Winding down the day infront of the fire pit on the beach or in the hot tub was perfect! Oh and every night the Sunset was magical! We will ABSOLUTELY be back!!

This house looks like it was built yesterday and all the details were carefully considered to maximize enjoyment. Fire pit on the beach, salt water hot tub with swinging arm for conveniently removing and replacing the cover, open living space design perfect for entertaining, and perfect bathroom to bedroom ratio. This home was very cozy and relaxing. The view was amazing! The price of the cleaning fee is so expensive that I would expect the house to be spotless but there were a couple areas in the house that were missed. However, I would definitely come back.

We had a fantastic family getaway. The home was beautiful by design and furnishings. We loved all of the amenities from the lake front with fire pit to the jacuzzi. We also were pleasantly surprised by the incidentals like shampoo and lotion as well as pocket kleenex in the bathrooms. I forgot foil for cooking and it was right there in the drawer. It is a lovely place and one that we would love to come back and visit again. Thank you for helping us make wonderful memories during a difficult times facing all of us.

The Sandy Shores home was luxury in so many ways & made our weekend stay so relaxing, enjoyable and a little slice of heaven on Lake Norman. The beds were so comfortable. All the little extras in the kitchen made it feel like home. This was one of my favorite houses that we have rented! It's close to all of the local stores (grocery, wine, Costco) and it was wonderful having a private dock. We also rented a boat from "Stay at Lake Norman" and it was perfect. The house is located in a nice cove that allows for skiing and other water sports without being out in the wide open part of the lake. You can even fish right off the dock; we caught perch, bass, and catfish. I love the open layout of the house and the sunset views were stunning.

My husband and I are expecting our first child, and we had the amazing opportunity honoring this gift with our friends over Veteran's Day weekend. This home felt like home. It was warm and ABSOLUTELY beautiful. The design of the home and the features were exceptional. The photos that were posted were EXACTLY what you received. I felt like they were better in person. The seating was just right, the bathrooms and décor were perfect, the lake access was perfect. Without a doubt, we will be renting this home again. It was PERFECT. Whatever you think you need for a vacation, you will find in this home. Next time, we would like to rent the boat on the dock if it is an option!! Haha. Thank you for providing this home for the best memories we have made to date.

Our family celebrated a 40th birthday and a baptism at this beautiful home on the lake. The house is just gorgeous. Whoever the architect and designer were-they were spot on. It is so well equipped. It even had a portacrib and a high chair! There were plenty of beach towels and the towel racks were even heated! We brought along some firewood and had s'mores out by the lake at night. The hot tub was a big bonus too. The main room layout is perfect for all activities. A puzzle was in progress on one table, a group at the bar was enjoying a beverage watching the game, someone was resting their eyes on the spacious couch while others were snacking at the kitchen counter. Can't think of anything I would improve except maybe a lighter blanket option as the quilts are beautiful and full on a hot night, but that didn't seem to interfere with great night's sleep on a great mattress and pillow. Maybe another floor mat by the back door to keep the inside clean. The boat was there when we arrived and we had lots of fun with the tube, skis and knee board included. Trouble finding gas in the 2 closed marinas, but management told us what to do. I hope people keep this place like it is their own because I want to come back.

Wow what an amazing weekend! We rented this home for my husbands 50th birthday, to have a place for his friends/family to stay and enjoy. And boy did they! The property was gorgeous with all the amenities of a 5 star resort! Crisp linens, fluffy white towels, comfortable furniture and everything you need to cook up a great meal! I rented Sandy Shore for a weekend getaway to celebrate my husbands 50th birthday with a couple of friends. Could not have been more perfect! Absolutely gorgeous home , with a beautiful view of the lake! Everything was basically provided for us, including a complementary bottle of wine! The home was perfect. Every room was setup perfect for guests. The bathrooms and showers were amazing. The countertops were higher, the sink was huge, and the place had enough place settings to feed 20. The boat dock, the boat, the outdoor fire pit were all perfect. Brand new grill that worked perfect, and even had a spare tank to make sure the guests are not inconvenienced. I just cannot say enough about this place. I wanted a luxury home on the lake and I got exactly that!

What a beautiful home and tranquil setting. The place was immaculate and beds were very comfortable. The kitchen and open floor plan allowed for entertaining with incredible sunset views of the lake just steps away from the house. The comfortable patio, lush green backyard and natural beach areas, complete with a fire pit on the sand were perfect for my family especially the grandchildren. I enjoyed the kayaks but my favorite amenity was the incredible salt water hot tub. Having a glass of wine in the tub at sunset or coffee in the morning was so relaxing. The master upstairs was very private and the walk in shower had two showering areas and a heated towel warmer. The 2 bedrooms downstairs each had a private bath with nice showers as well, it was like having 3 master suites. In addition to these 3 bedrooms they had a bunk-room with a queen bed and 5 bunks. The large bathroom for the bunk-room had a tub and shower room which was great for the kids after playing in the sand and swimming in the lake. The beach area was clean and had a very gradual drop off so my kids could swim in shallow water safely steps away from comfortable adirondack chairs where I could see them swimming. The house is also pet friendly but you would never know it since it was so clean. 5 stars easily- great rental

The house and grounds weee well kept, beautifully decorated with ample storage space. We appreciated the paper towels, toilet paper and coffee provided. The decorations were so crisp with beautiful back splashes and unique wood work. We had so much fun with the dock.

My wife and I were in Charlotte for business. We stayed here so we could get a chance to unwind. This newly renovated home was a true delight, and every day we looked forward to getting Bach, grabbing a glass of wine and sitting in the sand on the Adirondack chairs and watching the lake. The house and yard are fantastic, beds very comfortable, there are four separate areas to sit on back and we used them all. You’ll enjoy your stay better than a Ritz Carlton. There’s a top of the line jacuzzi, and a bbq. Only problem was we had an issue with stove top not working, although unfortunate the response was immediate and handled professionally. We wish we had thought about a boat in advance, so you might want to look into that. If you stay here, you won’t be disappointed, you’ll be delighted like we were. Shari was great to work with.
