Summer STATus

We had an amazing girls trip at Lake Norman. The house had all the amenities to make our vacation easy and fun including hand towels, Tupperware, pitchers. We lived on the dock and in the lake all weekend and could not have asked for a better place to stay.

We had a wonderful stay at the Summer Status home. The home was VERY clean and had all the ammenities you could want. The kitchen is fully stocked and we loved having the griddle top grill during our stay. We appreciated the beach towels and the all the extra ammenties. We will be looking to stay here again in the future. I higly recommend this vacation rental.

Summer STATus did not disappoint ! We had a fabulous time, the house is exactly as listed. The outdoor areas and dock were perfect and so much fun! This house has everthng you need for a relaxing time. We would love to come back.

This home was lovely and provided everything we needed for our family retreat. We were blessed with great weather and were able to thoroughly enjoy the pontoon. The special bonus was the herd of deer that grazed in the back yard at dawn and dusk. The kicker was the sunrise over the water in the mornings.

We really enjoyed our stay at Summer status. The kitchen was well stocked and having the sheets and towels supplied was a huge help. The dock was large enough to really be abler to enjoy time out there. There were a few things that would help make this rental even better. There were no towel racks or even hooks to hang towels on in either of the bathrooms. It was really a problem figuring out where to place towels once used. There was also additional cleaning of the outdoor furniture that would've allowed us to use the furniture below the covered porch area. The couch cushion was quite dirty and the high top table and chairs as well as the dock railing areas were full of cob webs. All in all it turned out to be a bit small of a house for us and have decided in the future we really need 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Thank you.

We stayed at Summer STATus for a week and plan to go back for two weeks next year. The house is perfect for a family vacation or couples getaway. Located on the lake with an unobstructed view! Great dock, fire pit, kayaks, and large open yard. The house has everything you need. Nicely decorated and very clean.

We highly recommend this house. Truly felt like a family lake house. Very nicely decorated and comfortable with all the amenities of home. Beautiful location with a perfect view of the sun and the moon coming up. We enjoyed seeing the deer every morning and evening and sitting by the fire pit and on the dock. It was great having our little dog with us too. The realty company, StayLakeNorman was great to work with and very proactive with their communications. We will definitely be back!

We enjoyed our stay so very much! Everything was fresh, clean and beautiful! This home has amazing energy and I loved reading the history of the family in the guest book. We spent our days together as a family swimming in the lake, kayaking, paddle boarding and floating on the rafts and noodles…just being able to relax and reconnect as a family was so special. At night we’d grill our dinner overlooking the lake and play Uno and Scrabble! We loved being able to have our dog with us too. Lulu got a real kick out of seeing the deer each morning and evening. One of my favorite things to do was read out on the sunroom with my coffee in the morning. We can’t wait to be able to come back! Such a special home! So thankful to the owners for sharing it.

We loved our stay on lake norman at Summer Status! Great house- the location and layout were perfect for our stay with 8 girlfriends! Everyone had a comfortable bed and the bathrooms are nice! The decor is super cute, too! Would definitely come back again!

We stayed at Summer STATus for a week over the 4th of July with another family. It was a fabulous vacation and our first time to Lake Norman. Stay Lake Norman was wonderful to rent from, extremely informative and helpful....highly recommend! The house was beautiful, clean and fit the 9 of us comfortably (our kids are all teenagers/young adults). Another bathroom would have been great, but I would rent this house again in a heartbeat!

Our family tries to take a family vacation every year. This was one of our top three vacations ever. The house was perfect for the ten of us with plenty of room to roam around. We rented a pontoon boat for the week and had a great time fishing, boating and tubing. We enjoyed the firepit and had smores around it. The weather couldn't have been any better. The kids use the kayaks and the paddle board. They were up at 6:00 a.m. and by 9:00 p.m. they were ready for bed as well as the adults. We would recommend Summer Status to any family who enjoys laughing and having a great time.

This rental offers a little slice of happy on Lake Norman! The lakefront yard is perfect! We never wanted to go inside. The house is lovely with a sunporch that allows you to enjoy the lake inside as well. We hope to visit again soon.

This is the 3rd house we have rented from Stay Lake Norman. This was a smaller property and much further North on the lake than the others but such a great spot. Can’t wait to visit again.

If I could give this company and rental 10 stars, I would! Stay Lake Norman is the best of the best in rentals around Lake Norman. We've had the pleasure of working with them for over a month as we await our new home in Davidson. We've stayed at several of their homes and each are beautiful, clean and equipped with everything you need for an amazing experience. They have thought of everything, from coffee to toiletry items, to higher-end soaps and hand wash. SummerSTATus is gorgeously redone and offers a quiet and serene setting on Lake Norman that can't be beat. We highly recommend this home!

This was our second experience at a lake house, both in 2020 (yes, we wanted a COVID break) and we simply loved this. From the breath taking scenery, its mesmerizing tranquility, to its good taste beauty inside the house. Minor things on the few kitchen appliances a bit dated, but all-in, we recommend this place.

We had the opportunity to stay at several Stay Lake Norman rentals between moves. Summer Status was perfect for our family. While it was not as large as some of the other rentals, it was very clean and completely updated inside. It is in a great location with great water views. We would definitely stay again.

We loved staying in this beautiful, spacious home. All the amenities were up to date and comfortable, the home decor was so pretty, and the kitchen was surprisingly well equipped. It was easy to arrange Instacart delivery within hours of our arrival, and we loved the contactless check-in and check-out. It was so peaceful waking up and looking out onto the lake with a cup of coffee, kayaking, and walking outside with our dogs.

We celebrated a big birthday with family while at Summer STATus and it was perfect. The team that helped us with our stay were spectacular and the home was equipped with more than we needed. The owners did a tremendous job updating this home inside and out and no details were spared!

We loved our vacation! We planned on going to Italy in March, and sadly, that never happened thanks to Covid. Then on to Bermuda, where we halted that vacation too, and finally to Lake Norman. A wonderfully safe, and beautiful spot to end up. It wasn't Italy, but the lake and the house were beautiful and we loved every minute spending the time together in this wonderful environment! So relaxing!!!

Beautiful lake front property that has been renovated and designed for comfort and style. The location of the home on the lake was amazing with quick access via boat to restaurants and water sport amenities. The outside yard and sitting areas were large with breathtaking views. We had plenty to do from lounging in the hammock or rowing in the kayaks. The property staff were professional and quick to address any issues or concerns. Our family will definitely visit this home again in the near future.
