Blarney Bay

A fabulous family vacation of 7, staying a week at Blarney Bay. The home is well equipped, spacious layout, comfortable, amenities for convenience, fun and relaxing. We ate all of our meals on the deck, and bacon couldn’t taste any better on the griddle. The basement surprised us as it is very large to play games and hangout. This home is within a quiet cove, with a large backyard, and a private beach for all of us to relax, build sand castles, and easy walk-in access to swim/float in the lake, and enter with a kayak. StayLakeNorman provided above excellent customer service. From our first call to making the reservation, finding a home to meet our requests, to renting a boat, to checking in their timely and concise instructions lead to a luxury vacation we only dreamed we could enjoy.

Blarney Bay was the perfect place for our Spring Break getaway. The house was spacious, the outdoor spaces were perfect for hanging out and enjoying the lake. We had everything we needed for our stay. Communication with the property team was quick and easy and the house lined up with the description and pictures. It was a very clean property. I would definitely recommend Blarney Bay and would love to stay the next time we are in the area.

The property is a true gem—its location, stunning views, and meticulous upkeep made it a perfect getaway. The house was spacious, clean, and well-equipped, making it feel like a home away from home. We especially appreciated the beautifully maintained outdoor spaces, which provided the ideal setting to relax and take in the views. The host was incredibly responsive and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. We had a great time the lake was calm and all the amenities were great. The kayaks, beach chairs and fire pit was well maintained.
The home had everything we needed. The pots, pans, dishes were very nice. Nice flat top grills. The towels were abundant and fluffy!

This home was lovely and peaceful. The neighborhood was quiet and the cove made it very private. The opportunity to have a boat to rent on-site and kayaks at our disposal was a big plus! I loved the hardwood trees surrounding the home and bird-watching from the deck. The kitchen was well-appointed and we did not need any additional amenities for bath or kitchen while there. The team at Stay Lake Norman was friendly, proactive and helpful! The only downside was having to leave!

The house was lovely with beautiful, quiet surroundings! Views were beautiful and neighbors were friendly. Kitchen was well appointed and amenities were great. The price was a bit higher per night than when I have booked other properties for the same amenities however this was a last minute booking and more beds than I needed. Some flexibility with check in and check out but only with an additional charge. I loved the boat rental option, private beach and water access. Everyone I communicated with was friendly and helpful! I would definitely book again!

Your home was very welcoming to have all our immediate family together was a lovely blessing. Beautiful memories was made,even though we had trouble with the heat just one call and the problem was addressed and solved, the house was cleaned well set up except the maid's could have dusted off the tables especially the bedrooms, other than that we had a wonderful time.

Loved the house and the amenities. Our family had a wonderful time and everything was perfect. Only suggestion was maybe have a chair in the upstairs bedroom to sit at by the window but that would just be a suggestion. Kitchen was fully equipped nicely. We enjoyed the fire pit and beach. We will return. Nice quiet area that was great for our family.

We arrived Saturday afternoon for our week at Blarney Bay. As soon as we opened the door the house smelled clean. Which made me happy since we have never been to Lake Norman or were familiar with the rental agency. They could not have been more accommodating. From the first phone call till our arrival. And to have the boat there when we got there was a huge plus. Glad we rented the boat for the entire week as the weather was perfect. The pontoon boat was clean and well maintained. Everything we needed was already there. Paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, laundry detergent, shampoos and conditioner, and lotion. Well stocked for the week. The beds were comfortable. Nice linens too. The house is in a private cove and it was very peaceful. Beautiful area of the lake. Anything we needed was a short 15 minute drive. The only negative thing, which we all agreed, was the kitchen chairs. They were very uncomfortable to sit in. I felt they were very cheap and flimsy. We like to all sit at the table and play cards at night but we ended up sitting on the floor. That would be our only complaint. We are looking forward to coming back to the lake, same time, next year.

Blarney Bay is a very nice place for the family to stay on Lake Norman. Tucked away in a quiet cove the house is equipped with 4 BR and plenty to do recreationally. The main part of Moorsesville is about a 12-15 min drive. Adding the boat rental, which is dropped off for you and picked up by Staylakenorman was a great feature, not having to worry about managing that aspect of the trip.

Blarney Bay met all of our needs for a memorable vacation at the Lake! We loved the location, enjoyed making smores at the fire pit, and had countless great meals on the back patio. Property was PERFECT for our overnight adults and dayside visitors of all ages (pre-teens though 80's) with gentle sloping yard, beach and shaded portions of well-maintained dock. House was well-appointed, clean, modern and absolutely user-friendly. Parking was more than adequate and easy to maneuver around. Deck for overview of the family and yard for the mutts was icing on the cake. Management company was too good for words. Highly recommend!!!

The house at Blarney Bay was just perfect. We were two families of 4 staying there and all Had plenty of space to spread out and be comfortable. The house was very clean and well set up for our arrival. The downstairs bar and recreation area was great for family movie night and game time. We all Enjoyed the fire pit area….even in summer! We rented a pontoon boat from stay lake Norman as well and it was delivered and ready for us on day one. It was a stress free, relaxing and memorable vacation for both families. The view from the house was gorgeous and being o. The lake was refreshing. Thank You for a great time!!

The property was just as appeared online with everything needed for the stay except food. The only inconvenient thing was the power and water went out (widespread outtage so no fault of mngmt) and there were no flashlights and it was evening on our last night so packing and cleaning had to wait until morning, with 10am checkout it was very hectic.

Our family of 8 enjoyed every minute. The boat we rented was brought to the dock. We only left to get groceries (-15min away). The pool table entertained during downtime. We had a fantastic fire pit night with no bugs. The sunset you see off the top of your deck is breathtaking. We used the paddleboard and kayaks, and they were in perfect condition. We found our family vacation spot!!

My friends and I loved our stay here! The property was just as described. We cooked all our meals over the weekend, so we really appreciated the fully stocked kitchen (even including lots of herbs and spices). The grill on the deck was fully stocked with two propane tanks. We also enjoyed using the fire pit, although we had to bring our own firewood. One of the only downsides we found was that there was only one kayak instead of two, but it was a minor inconvenience. Would definitely return here again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Blarney Bay. The four bedrooms comfortably slept our group of 12. The kitchen was well-equipped with dishes and utensils. There are two spacious living areas — one on the main floor and one downstairs, plus good deck space. We rented a boat, which was waiting for us upon arrival. The house offers a lovely view of the lake. Sunsets on the back deck are a must. We recommend!
