Home is very nice with everything you need. A few upgrades would be nice such as new shower heads on main level. One works okay and one don't work at all. Living room furniture not too comfortable. All amenities you need they have. Would stay there again

The house was great for our gathering. It was cooled off when we arrived, it was very clean. The kitchen was well equipped. Bathrooms were convenient and all was well. Only negative was that we thought the main gathering area's couches and chairs could use an upgrade. We enjoyed the couches on the lower level. We didn't use the outside bc of heat and humidity.

The entire experience was warm from booking through staying at Blue Wing Bay, hosted by Stay Lake Norman. It was our first time at the lake, so working with a company like this was great. SLN was responsive via text (my favorite) the entire time of our booking and trip. Place was very clean and felt newly remodeled. It was especially comfortable for our dogs with the fenced in yard and deck area. Highly recommend!

We loved the house, the amenities were way more than we expected. House was very clean and we loved the short drive to the grocery store. Couple things that were not so great is the King mattress downstairs folded inward and and fan upstairs makes a lot of noise. Overall we were happy with the house and location. We would for sure recommend it to friends and stay there again.

I rented the space for my husband’s birthday with some family and friends. My guest and I enjoyed the property. It was well taken care of, clean and they made great use of the space. The property manager was kind and very responsive. The only thing was that I expected from the description for it to be right on the lake but it was located kind of on a stream that went into the lake. All in all though a very nice space

Nice home on a quiet inlet part of the lake. My son caught a giant catfish on his first cast off the dock. The house was perfect for our family, could have easily had another family or two with us. Kitchen is fully stocked so with pantry staples. The shuffleboard & pac man arcade game were perfect for me 3 & 5 year old. We enjoyed our time on Lake Norman and the surrounding area. If I had to suggest an improvement it would be upgrading the coffee maker, it worked but was not the best.

Only negative was frig water filter said 2019 on it in big bold writing. Also air filters needed to be replaced ( very dirty ) overall we enjoyed the property and would stay again.

The property was everything as described in the listing and then some. It was immaculate, comfortable, well stocked, and very functional with regard to use of space throughout the house and property. A boat is a great thing to rent but make sure it agrees with those staying with you.

Great place to stay for family fun on the lake. Well equipped kitchen and dock. Rented the boat as well and had a fabulous time. It's a little tight getting the boat back to the dock. We kayaked, tubed, and just explored the lake - this was a great place to call home base for the week. Thanks for a great stay.

My family and I rented Blue Wing Bay for a long weekend to visit friends at Lake Norman. This house was perfect for our group, and provided all the things we needed.....plenty of room, great views, easy dock access to the lake, and plenty of nearby locations to visit. The house was stocked with everything that we would need. We will be visiting this again!

The house was a perfect getaway for our growing family. Very spacious and best of all we were able to bring our fur babies. We rented a pontoon and loved having it in our backyard. First off, I am a very discerning traveler who spends more than 125 nights per year at hotels, resorts, and properties similar to this one so my reviews are thorough & sometimes a bit nit picky versus the average traveler who is on the road infrequently. Overall, this is a very nice property. My 9 & 11 year olds loved the basement with pacman, shuffle board, comfortable leather sectional, TV, walkout to yard & lake, and full bathroom. This was their own little space and it felt like being away at a summer camp for them, but they were still only a flight of stairs away form mom & dad. The home is very well appointed, beds are comfortable, furnishings are modern and higher end, kitchen is well stocked, wifi worked great. Having a SUP and 2 kayaks on the dock ready to use was fantastic as we didn't have to lug our own for such a short trip. The cove itself is pretty small and isn't the best area to swim in, but it's not far to get to open water. The kids really enjoyed catching tons of panfish from the dock. We caught a couple 8-10 pound catfish at night as well which was fun. Only 1 bass though, and the water is about 6-9 feet off the dock, so I expect you would find more there at other times of the year but not late summer. The only items that could have been better was that the hvac vents had not been cleaned for quite a while. There was black sentiment all around the vent in the kitchen which was concerning. In the kids bunk bed room it appeared that a pet urine stain was on the rug as well as curtain. We don't have pets as we are highly allergic so we simply closed that door and didn't use the room at all. I'm assuming this was simply overlooked by the previous cleaning crew as this sort of thing happens late season and the stains were hidden by bean bag chairs. Being covid, I did not want a cleaning crew to come out while we were there but I'm 100% sure the management would have taken care of this had we asked as they were very responsive and communicative. Other than that the only minor things were the grille being pretty dirty, but I chalk that up to it being the last week of the summer season. Overall, this is a fantastic property and could easily accommodate two families of 4 or 5 comfortably, and having 3 full baths in a home of this size is a treat. We will definitely keep this on our short list for future lake get aways.

We absolutely loved our stay. The house was everything we needed and the downstairs area was super fun for the kids. The dock was in a smaller canal which was intimidating at first to park the boat- but they came out to give us suggestions and to practice parking! This was way above our expectations and so appreciated! We had the best time on the lake!

Bluewing Bay was a wonderful getaway. The home is very comfortable and decorated beautifully! We were a family of four so there was plenty of room for everyone. I definitely recommend renting a boat! Great location, nice space. LOTS of dishes and kitchen was well equipped, which was a huge plus! Very clean, and family friendly; kids loved the Pac-man game and the Netflix in their room. We got a boat along with our rental, which was the BEST part by far - definitely take advantage of this option!!! Clean, new, fast tritoon that was easy to drive and came with kneeboard, tube, and life jacket for hours of fun on the lake. TLDR: Rent this house and GET THE BOAT! ;)

The house was exactly as described and very up to date and modern. Set back in a quiet cove was a great place to swim or take advantage of the kayaks and paddle boards they provide. The shuffle board and pac man video games are a lot of fun at night as well. Over all a wonderful place

This is a beautifully decorated home right on Lake Norman. Everything you'd need is the house and each room is very tastefully laid out. The house gets lots of sun too. We loved our stay!

Everything was clean and organized. Great attention to detail with a PacMan machine, shuffle-board table, Internet TV, etc. Fully stocked amenities like dish-soap, toilet paper, laundry detergent, towels, etc. We didn't need to buy anything other than our food (there were even 2 tanks of propane provided for the BBQ). Although swimming area off the dock looks a little confined, it is not - the photos don't do it justice. It is a very quiet cove and we didn't witness a single boat go by. We really enjoyed the paddle-sport equipment provided. 6 TVs in the house and super-fast WIFI. We will definitely be coming back!

This was an excellent location for my family. The master suite bathroom is extremely small but otherwise, beautiful home. We were a family of four so perfect square footage. If we needed anything, it was taken care of within minutes. I hope future renters will take care of this lovely rental and treat it with care. LOVED IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We had a group of 7 people. 5 adults and 2 kids. This house is amazing. From the dock to the backyard to the basement. The only negative is that there are no stairs from the upper deck to the backyard.

We had a wonderful stay at Blue Wing Bay. It was well appointed with everything we needed. Despite the rainy weather we used the kayaks and the paddle board on our cove. The kids loved the downstairs and we were able to all be together on the main floor. The management staff was wonderful and our stay went off without a hitch!
