We loved the atmosphere & the location, it was truly a great space to enjoy the Lake views. The kitchen was a little dim for cooking but overall a good experience. Thanks to Danielle, Ashley & Tyler for their efforts to make us comfortable. We’ll definitely be back

This house was perfect for our kids and family. Great beach access to the lake, and the kids could swim off the dock to the beach on the property. The property management was the best part. They were very quick to respond to any issues we had. we cant wait to be back!

This house is perfect!! So nicely done on the inside with incredible water views across the back. The house has everything you need from towels to toiletries. Also one of the cleanest properties we have ever rented. The only thing we lacked was more time! Thank you Stay Lake Norman! PS - Rent the Boat!!

This home is amazing! The design details in the interior to the exterior furnishings and beach - to the house to water ratio....everything was so thought out when designing this home for a vacation rental. As ALWAYS staylakenorman is there for you if you need anything at all - top notch and true pros. We enjoy getting out of the city to experience lake life any time of the year. Although it rained three of the four days, the house and view were tremendous! There was plenty of space for cooking, relaxing and fun family time games. Stay Lake Norman is a great place to rent from!! Thank you again, can't wait for next year.

This property was perfect for our family! We enjoyed the scenery, location and neighborhood was great! The house had a perfect layout, and it was so nice with the panoramic view. There were lots of things to do which we enjoyed. We made some different memories for Thanksgiving this year in a perfect place after losing one of our daughters in September. We stayed with StayLakeNorman one other time before this and enjoyed our visit, but when we return for future visits we would love to stay at this same place! It was perfect??

My girlfriend and I took a weekend staycation at Lake Norman Breakaway. I can't say enough about how amazing this property is. When you pull in you immediately feel like you are on your own private little island. The entire length of the back of the property is lakefront water with an amazing view of Lake Norman. The property feels very private with no close homes on one side and a 20 foot plus wall of trees on the other side, it's your own little paradise. The property has two beaches, dock and a boat ramp. We enjoyed sitting on the adirondack chairs around the fire on the beach each night. I definitely ate way to many smores. Diet starts today! :-) In the morning we would make a cup of coffee (they have plenty of complimentary coffee pods) and sit in the hot tub overlooking the beautiful view of the lake. The inside of the home is beautiful and decorated as if they hired a professional interior designer. All the basic amenities you need for a stay was available at this property, including a complimentary bottle of wine! We are planning another weekend in December and no doubt will be back at this property again.

We leave in Charlotte and just 35 minutes away found this treasure to celebrate my fiancés birthday with close friends. The house has all the amenities that we needed and the views are breathtaking. Pictures don't do justice. You have to see it in person. We had and amazing, relaxing and fun time. Will definitely come back in the future.

What a wonderful lake house! It was clean and well stocked so we could just arrive and start enjoying the home and all that the area had to offer. Great spot to rent a boat or go on the kayaks. Plenty of space for our whole family. We hope to come back next year!

Such an amazing home and property! Loved the level and close proximity of this home to the beach and dock as well. The house was clean and had all the basics that you could need. They even supplied beach towels which was a real treat! It was also nice to not have to bring a Pack and Play and High Chair as that was supplied as well. The Kayak and Paddle Board were enjoyed as well. I would highly recommend renting a boat to add to the fun! We did have a few issues but they were quickly addressed. The freezer and ice maker didn't work but by evening a stand up freezer was delivered. The Hot Tub also only worked at times. Althought they attempted to fix it, they didn't figure out the root of the problem until the last day. This property has beautiful indoor living and outdoor space as well. We would definitely return for another visit!

Our 4 families with kids were able to stay in this house with plenty of space for everyone. Large washer and dryer allowed us to do less loads. Kayak and paddle board were great for all of us. We brought small life jackets and so the pontoon boat rental was a definite plus. The house provided enough supplies to last through at least half a week if not the whole week. We had rented this place 3 years ago and loved it then too.

We had a wonderful time with our kids and grandkids while staying in the beautiful “Lake Norman Breakaway” house. The home is a perfect example of ideal lakefront living. It features expansive glass on the lakeside with a very open living area. It is deceptive from the front but accommodates a large family or group. There are actually 6 bedrooms ( one has bunk beds), 2 masters with king beds, two queen bedrooms, and a room with twins. I believe there are 4 bathrooms - all very nice and well decorated. We found the kitchen/ dining and living area to be perfect for our family of ten and was extremely well stocked. The outdoor deck was a favorite and everyone seemed to enjoy the hot tub. It was super easy to rent our pontoon boat, and large inflatable that the grandkids enjoyed. Everything was waiting for us when we arrived. The people at Stay Lake Norman could not have been more accommodating and helpful.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Lake Norman Breakaway! The house was spacious and the view was breathtaking. Watching the morning sunrise on the back porch is a MUST! The beds were extremely soft (they took some getting used to for some of us) and the kitchen was well stocked with what we needed for cooking for our large group. Overall, a wonderful experience.

We loved our stay. The house was lovely and the outdoor space was quiet and peaceful. Our only suggestions for improvement would be to change the shower heads in the jack and jill bathroom and the master suite closest to the den. The one in the jack and jill suite cannot be adjusted for height and due to the angle of the water it makes it very difficult to shower if you aren't a taller person. Otherwise we loved the accommodations and especially appreciated all of the kitchen amenities that were available. We will definitely be back!

We stayed at this home a few weeks ago and it was an absolutely delightful experience. The home was prepped with everything and anything we needed. The rental agency truly thought of all the needs visitors would have and had great customer service. The only issue we ran into was the temperature setting and the agency did everything they could to make us comfortable, including dropping off a couple of heaters so we could be more comfortable. The TWO beaches on the property were wonderful and we made use of them everyday of our weeklong stay. Can’t say enough good things. Highly recommend this property and hope to return one day!

Our family stayed at the Lake Norman Breakaway in October and had a fantastic time! We've stayed at a lot of vacation rentals over the years and this is definitely one of the best. The house is a bit unassuming from the front, but as you round the bend on the driveway, you see the magnificent view of the lake, and as you enter the house you see how special it is. While the listing says 3 bedroom, it's actually a 6 bedroom house so there were lots of extra beds for our visit. The house has every amenity you could need during your stay. They definitely did not skimp! From all the baking pans you could need, to all the toiletries you could use. Of course the house is very well designed and decorated as you can see from the pictures as well as extremely clean. Our favorite part was being right on the lake. Having the two beaches were great for our kids and kept them plenty entertained along with the kayaks and stand up paddle board. While we didn't rent a boat, we'll definitely take advantage of that next time. The community is nice and quiet and has easy access to any store/restaurant you could need only 10-15 minutes away. Overall we had a great time and look forward to staying again!

We had a great time at this property. Instead of having our team meeting at a hotel we decided to do something different this time and it was well recieved by the team. Everyone loved the place and the view. We will certainly book this place again for team meetings.

It was a family vacation with 6 people. Breakaway was everything it was presented to be. Very nice house, very clean, with a lot of room for the square footage, very open, good privacy in the bedrooms, great yard, dock and parking in a very quiet and private neighborhood setting. We brought our boat and tied up to the dock all week. There are bumpers already attached to the dock and it made the process very easy. There is one duplex 110V outlet on the dock. If you need to plug your boat in bring at least 30ft of extension cord. The fire pit was very nice and the family enjoyed sitting by the fire a few evenings. The house was well equipped with everything you would need. By the way the fishing all week was very good for spotted bass. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

This is a wonderful property with 6 bedrooms and 4 baths and plenty of communal area. The lake views are spectacular and the hot tub and fire pit areas add to the fun. We had everything we needed for a great weekend. The dishwasher may need attention, it leaked when used. Otherwise everything was great!

Perfect stay! There were only 6 of us, but it worked out really well. The place is really well organized, and the views are incredible. Kayaking, fire pit, jacuzzi, everything is ready for use and the owners thought of all contingencies. They even have a game drawer! Highly recommend!

The location, amenities, floor plan, furnishings and decor of this property are ideal, especially for multi-generational families staying together. Easy access to a boat pushed our time to an A+ experience. The property management team is customer service focused, accommodating and attentive both before and during our stay. This is a great rental for multiple families. The property itself is stunning with a huge yard and two beaches areas, one with great trees for hanging enos. We loved the easy lake access and expansive views from the floor to ceiling windows across the back. We also loved that it was an old school lake house that had been completed renovated. The property was maintained well and very clean upon arrival. The only negative is lots of wasps on the decking and in the eves of the home. The management company was very responsive and came out right away to spray but the wasps didn't clear out. They didn't hamper our trip or affect our ability to sit outside. It would simply be nice if the management company could get them under control ... but it is summer in the South. We loved this rental and highly recommend it. Lots of space and appointed nicely. Well done interiors and exteriors - tons of space for enjoying the lake.

This house was perfect for our annual sibling reunion of eight adults. Fishing was readily accessible as were strolls through the neighborhood. The open floor plan was very conducive to group activities and visiting. Bedrooms were comfortable and private. The recently remodeled house was warm and cozy even though it was frigid outside. The Property Management staff pleasantly accommodated a couple of special requests and even had decorated for the holidays. The premises and house were pristine. We'd happily return in a warmer season to enjoy the lovely deck, lake, beaches and firepit.

PERFECT! This vacation home was perfect for our family of 12! The home was spotless, beautiful and everything we expected. With 8 adults and 4 granddaughters (ages 6-2) there was plenty of room for everyone. We especially liked the fact that the kitchen and living room is big and spacious and we were together all the time. We used the outdoor living space, and extra large picnic table daily. My granddaughters loved the swing (our only concern there were the rocks that are so close to the swing that a child could hit their head very easily). The beach is great for all ages, it was very hot so our whole family spent a lot of time floating in the lake, it is shallow so the little ones could play. The boat was definitely a big plus, we did a lot of tubing, fishing, and just riding around the lake looking for new coves to float in. Shari and Danny are GREAT! Thank you for a wonderful week and so many memories!! Lake Norman is definitely one of our favorite new places to visit!!!

It was our first trip to Lake Norman and it's was an enjoyable stay. The home was very clean and everyone was comfortable. Pam welcomed us to the house and Danny was there for help and follow up. They really made you feel Welcome and were very attentive to all your needs. Danny set up the rental boat and had it waiting at the house which was a huge help and service. He also helped with local restaurants, lake trip ideas etc. Thank you Danny ! We are looking forward to coming back !

Spectacular time at a fantastic house! Plenty of room, comfortable beds, open backyard, amazing dock, gorgeous view,... and the list of great things continue. In town for our daughter's wedding and the house was a great way to enjoy the week. Perfect for a family gathering. Would rent again during our next visit. Danny was very helpful, conscientious, and readily available to support any need from prior to arrival to checking-out. Thank you for a wonderful experience! Minor recommendations: -please consider luggage racks in the bedrooms to hold a suitcase. -please consider adding nightlights in the bathrooms since guests are in a new environment and unfamiliar with the house layout in the dark. -bathroom fans are loud and operated simultaneously with the bathroom light switch.

This is a great property. The living spaces both inside and out are fantastic. The waterfront is probably one of the better ones on the lake. Shari and Danny were great through out the entire process and our stay.

This is the second year in a row we have stayed at the property and we will be returning next year. The two beaches make you feel like you are in a tropical setting. The shaded beach is great for kids and the more open beach ideal for sun worshipers. This house is situated on the best cove in Lake Norman with plenty of calm water. The marina close by is a huge plus if you have a boat or are renting one. Cant wait for next year.
