I would definitely stay again. The home had everything we needed and more. Stunning Views!!!

This was our first stay at a Lake Norman rental property. The accommodations were just as pictured on the website and the home was clean, comfortable, and well stocked. The views were beautiful and the beach and dock were lovely and it was a pleasure relaxing in and on the property. A few things went wrong during the stay that was out of the control of the renters and was weather related. However-The ceiling ended up leaking but the agency was easy to reach and quick to reply. The lawn was a little overgrown at our arrival and due to the weather the landscapers were unable to tend to it on their scheduled day. It would have been nice having tools to clean the outside porch of the leaves and random sticks on the side of the porch that was shaded by trees & because of the debris we really couldn’t use it for the duration of our stay. The only other inconvenience was that there was no access to the temp controls and the upstairs guests claimed it was hot and uncomfortable for sleeping. We did enjoy the home and with those little easy to make changes I would rate 5 stars.

This property was wonderful! The house was stocked with what we needed. They had beach towels, extra toilet paper, dishpods, dish towels, counter cleaner, sponges and paper towels. (I usually bring my own to rentals because most of the time they aren’t stocked!)The beds were comfy and the house was clean and so well decorated! We enjoyed the paddle boards and kayaks daily. The house is south east facing so the sunrise while sitting by the water was gorgeous! The communication from Stay Lake Norman was excellent. We would absolutely stay here again!

We cannot say enough good things about the home, location, StayLakeNorman, and boat /vacation toy rental (Sunside). We came with our three kids (17,14, and 10), some of their friends, and two furry kids. We never left (except to get some groceries) because everything we wanted and needed was right at the house. The location on one of the creeks was peaceful and perfect for the kids to swim and for all of us to enjoy kayaking and paddleboarding. And it was a quick boat ride out to the bigger parts of the lake for exploring and tubing. We loved the sunrises and sunsets, and we were lucky to enjoy the full moon and sat lakeside to watch it rise from the lovely "beach" and chairs. The hot tub was enjoyed by all and even usable in August! The house has everything you need to cook and enjoy family time together with beautiful views and great outdoor spaces. Everyone wants to come back which is a ringing endorsement!!

Beautiful home on a beautiful lot with quick access to restaurants/shopping. Our family very much enjoyed the peaceful beach area with firepit as well.

Even before check in, the communication was great. There were helpful reminder texts about expectations, what to bring, etc. The cleanliness was superb and the decor was amazing. Very updated and the house had everything we needed. The beach area was so nice to have for little ones. Will absolutely use StayLakeNorman again!

Great house, very peaceful setting and the house had everything we needed. We very much enjoyed our stay there and would go back. The only negative is the early checkout at 10am, 11am is a more reasonable time.

Lakeside Story was perfect for our family to celebrate our 40th anniversary. Perfect location for our 3 families making the trip from Indiana, Ohio and Florida. Accomodations were perfect so that all the adults had their own master suite and all the cousins could hang together in the room with 6 bunk beds. Perfect place for the perfect get-away!

We enjoyed our stay immensely at Lakeside Story. This is a home that we would actually love to purchase. The accommodations were great. We did have quite a few spiders but that's seems to be normal around the lake this time of year. The primary bedding was awesome and made for a great nights sleep. The views are incredible out of the nice large windows and the location was easy to get to. We will surely be coming back to Lakeside Story. Tim & Sarah

This home was the perfect place to celebrate the holiday as a family. We cooked, spent time outside and enjoyed the area. Lakeside story had everything we needed, and there was a number to text if there was anything missing. A fantastic time in a fantastic home. I miss the view already!

Beautiful house and perfect location. Easiest vacation we have had in a very long time. Everyone was super helpful and the food we ordered from Prime55 was amazing. Amy the massage therapist was wonderful. StayatLakeNorman basically took care of all our needs. The boat rental was so convenient. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful lot very close to the water. We enjoyed the final Summer days floating on the mat and boating around the lake. Sunrises were nice and we boated just a short distance to watch the fantastic sunsets. The house was clean and very nice, especially the floor to ceiling windows in the "Great Room", and accommodated 6 adults very comfortably. Stay Lake Norman hits another home run. All the houses we have stayed at are fantastic. See you next Summer.

Stay Lake Norman and Lakeside story house have been the best experience in vacation rentals that I’ve had in 45 years. With being first responders the last 18 months have been extremely difficult. My husband and I along with our 2 sons and their wives and 3 dogs spent 2 weeks at this lake house and will gladly do it again. The quality care and maintenance of the house was outstanding. Thank you all for the much needed hassle free restful vacation ever.

Lakeside Story was everything we hoped it would be. The home was well stocked with dishes, glasses and cooking utensils for adults and kids. It was extremely clean and well appointed. Although my son and his family are from Davidson, we are from California and it was our first trip to Lake Norman and we were not disappointed. Pictures, of course, make everything look a bit bigger than they actually are...so the space wasn't quite as large as we had thought, especially the bunk room, but it was plenty big enough for 8 adults and three small kids. Beach amenities like chairs, firepit, kayaks and paddle board were much appreciated. We rented a boat from Stay Lake Norman as well and it was waiting for us when we got there and functioned perfectly for the week. We called maintenance for a couple of small issues and they were addressed immediately. We would rent from Stay Lake Norman again!!!

We had so much fun at Lakeside Story, the home is just stunningly beautiful and the team at Stay lake Norman, was just wonderful. Tatiana was so helpful with every detail. Such a pleasure to work with! It was a last minute booking surprise for my daughter that was graduating from UNCC. The house was gorgeous and fully stocked with everything we needed. The beds were so comfortable my father in law decided he was going to get a new mattress! Thank you so much for making this such a wonderful memory for our family We will forever be grateful, and will be back for sure!

This is the second home we have stayed in through, Stay Lake Norman. The homes are decorated so well and both homes had such great views. Lakeside Story was pretty even in the rain. The floor to ceiling windows make you smile in the morning. The covered dock keeps your boat nice and shaded and the kitchen is very well equipped, which is importatnt now that we eat in all the time! Of course the grandchildren loved their bunk room too.

Had such an amazing time. Everything was so easy. From boat rental, hot tub, grill, kayaks. We had such a great time w memories that will last forever. Only problem was we only stayed a week. Very tough to leave!.

We had to cancel our original vacation Due to Covid 19 and decided to rent a lake house as a backup vacation to social distance. Needless to say this should have been our primary vacation! The property was amazing and everyone loved the lake life. StayLakeNorman kept us informed of all policies and procedures along the way. From the moment we pulled up, the house was immaculate, completely updated and fresh (I have very high standards), and the view was incredible. All of the decor, finishes, bed linens, lighting, etc, were attractive and tastefully done. The small included touches made all the difference, from the coffee bar, the drink bar with a complimentary bottle of wine, soaps, shampoos, conditioners, laundry detergent, paper towels, and the ever so hard to find - toilet paper! Our adult “children” immediately ran to the small beach and grabbed the included kayaks and paddle board and set out on the lake. Watching them and how much they were enjoying themselves gave me such a euphoric feeling knowing in that moment they were not interested in their cell phones, video games or anything electronic. They were just enjoying the outdoors. We also rented a boat through the property and it did not disappoint. Everyday we would venture out to go tubing, kneeboarding, fishing and sightseeing. We would also anchor the boat and go swimming. After a day on the lake we would head back to our cove, sit on the deck, have a few cocktails, grill dinner whether it was the days catch or something from the grocery store and finish the evening eating s’mores by the fire pit. I could go on forever about how much we enjoyed this “backup” vacation but all-in-all we give Lake Norman and StayLakeNorman properties 5 stars for a job well done!

We loved our visit to Lake Norman and loved staying at Lakeside Story. The location is quiet and beautiful! It was perfect for 3 couples with plenty of room. I would definitely rent again.

This house is even more beautiful in person than it is in the pictures. The view of the lake from the main area inside is incredible and everything was in perfect condition when we arrived. You can tell they spared no expense when furnishing and decorating this home. Every bed and bedroom was cozy and comfortable, including the bunk beds. We did have an issue with the plumbing during our stay, but the property manager reacted immediately and it was fixed and everything was cleaned within an hour and a half. The outdoor spaces here are perfect - plenty of different spaces for gathering and relaxing. We used the fire pit on the beach to make smores, took the kayaks out for a spin one morning, cooked out using the gas grill for dinner, and enjoyed the hot tub both nights we were there. Everything was in good working order and made for a perfect getaway with friends. We also rented a boat which was conveniently already at our dock equipped with a tube, water skis, and a knee board - highly recommend doing this to get the most out of the perfect lakeside location. If you are trying to decide if this house is worth the price, the answer is yes. We are already checking our calendars to see when we can come back.

We just wanted to say thank you for the beautiful home! Everything was decorated with such good taste and the view couldn’t be anymore perfect. We all enjoyed the lake and the spaciousness. Our personal favorite was the mattress in the master bedroom. We almost didn’t want to leave the bed. Every single item perfectly matched. We had absolutely everything in the kitchen to create a perfect meal and atmosphere! Thank you again and we definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Moorseville!

The house is lovely - everything completely remodeled, new and clean. The house has a great floor plan layout with each bedroom having its own bathroom and great open living space. Outdoor space is very nice as well with great views of lake and kids really enjoyed beach spot with smore's in evenings. Great location on the lake - nice open cove area. The house was also well equipped with all essentials. Really enjoyed!

Our family of six (plus 2 significant others) just spent the week of July 4th staying in Lakeside Story. What a perfect week it was. The home was ideal for our family - luxury accommodations coupled with a perfect Lake Norman waterfront location and view. We spent our days on the lake enjoying all it had to offer and enjoyed the comfort of this beautifully designed and furnished home at night. July 4th topped it all off with front row seats on our dock to the perfect view of fireworks at the Point. I highly recommend StayLakeNorman and Lakeside story.
