Mallard Vestige

Our family now of 16 has been fortunate to enjoy many different areas of the country and even abroad for family trips but now with grandchildren in the mix picking the right venue for all ages has had its challenges. Our family is spread throughout the country and so when the idea of renting a Lake House intrigued us. Wow what a wonderful experience, we absolutely loved it! And especially the Mallard Vestige property was so beautiful, clean, spacious and updated and Stay Lake Norman service was outstanding. Both unbelievably top notch! We rented a pontoon boat and it completed the whole experience. Having so many activities available on property was game changer and definitely booking again next year. Worth all the flights & travel in from the west coast!

Beautiful home that’s perfect for family gatherings. The home is spacious and well appointed. The living areas are comfortable and perfect for groups. The bedrooms are all comfortable and large. Stay Lake Norman provided so many resources and recommendations that made our vacation wonderful.

We just got back from a long weekend at Mallard Vestige. It is a beautiful house in a great location. The moment you walk in, you breath is taken away by the view out to lake from the huge windows. I never got tired of looking out. The house was perfect for us, the pool and the hot tub were a lot of fun and we enjoyed our last evening down by the lake around the fire. It truest was a wonderful place to relax for the weekend.

Home was great it had plenty of space for all guest and beds. Very convenient and close to Charlotte. I just wish the pool was more heated but we still went in for a swim.

The home was perfect. Great location on the lake. Pool was very nice. Downstairs game room was awesome. Three TVs with shuffleboard, foosball, and air hockey was nice. The only issue was using the smart TV functions only. Made it a little frustrating. Bedrooms were private and there were plenty. Definitely would rent again. The home exceeded our expectations. Definitely 5 stars

We had been looking forward to this week away together for many months. Not knowing exactly what to expect, the house and lake lived up to our hopeful expectations. The pool with the platform was a perfect place for our very young kids to "swim" and we all enjoyed the boat we rented. We would have liked more restaurant options close by but found several good ones to order from. We did lots of cooking so made many runs to Publix. You had also warned us several times about bugs but we never had an issue. It was a very quiet vacation as we were there to enjoy each other's company. As far as the house is concerned, it would have been helpful to have personal instruction on the TV streaming (we're older but our kids figured it out) as well as regulating the temps with the confusing thermostats. Minor issues were that none of the bathrooms had hooks for robes or to hang wet suits nor were there any full length mirrors. The kitchen was amazing and stocked with everything you could need. Thinking that as much as the house suited our sleeping, bathing and cooking needs really well, we might consider trying a different house next summer on the northern coast of the lake, if there are rentals available. In all, we would definitely recommend your company to friends looking for this kind of vacation. Your company has been very available and helpful in walking us through the entire rental process and providing information. We felt very comfortable putting our summer vacation in your hands.

From the first moment we walked in the front door we were impressed with this home. The great room with its vaulted ceiling‘s an open concept kitchen dining area all have full glass windows looking out at the beautiful water views . The master bedroom and bath was amazing and not a detail was missed all the way down to the beautiful chandelier over the soaking tub. All of the bedrooms were large rooms and seem to be separated a little from each other it was nice because it was like you had your own space and all were furnished beautifully! There was a really cool bunk room on the lower level with six extra large bunks, the kids loved it. All the beds in the home were COMFORTABLE ! I can’t stand it when you go someplace and the beds are not comfortable. So that was a big plus. The kitchen had everything that you would need and everything was new and clean, even the cooking utensils. The huge lower level it’s where everyone spent most of their time with a full kitchen, a bar with multiple TVs was like being at a sports bar, a huge comfy sofa to sit and watch a tv that seemed to be about a 85” the foosball table, shuffle board table and air hockey tables were constantly in play unless you were outside in the extra large swimming pool with a sun shelf for lying in the sun. Bottom line I would recommend this Airbnb property to anyone wanting to relax and enjoy lake Norman on their vacation with a large family or group. Everything we needed was at our finger tips. I know we will stay here again! Oh yeah I forgot it even has kayaks and paddle boards and you can rent a boat because it has its own dock. ??????????

Amazing home, fabulous grounds. This home had it all for our family We need 4 master bedroom 3 for my adult children & their spouses. And my husband & i. The location of the bedrooms were all so private. Then we had 9 grandchildren, 7 boys 2 girls., ages 8-18. The lower level was perfect for them all. The shuffleboard tournament went well inti the night. The pool made all the difference frm the last home we leased. Not to mention the amazing dock. We brought a ski boat & a jet ski & rented a pontoon, it was perfect. The house made all the difference for best family vacstion ever.

Mallard Vestige is a beautiful home with an amazing view of sunset with floor to ceiling windows to enjoy them from. The house is well stocked with all the things needed from fluffy pool towels to wine glasses and a gourmet kitchen set up. The staff was super responsive and professional. I highly recommend Stay Lake Norman homes!
