We loved this spacious house. Everyone had their own space, bedrooms and bathrooms. Dog friendly too! Great location on the lake with a quick boat ride to some fun spots.

First of all, this place was absolutely amazing and we'd stay there again in a heartbeat. Beautifully decorated, excellent floor plan and layout giving everyone plenty of space. Service was exceptional. Totally worth it over AirBnB and VRBO any day. I'd give it a 4.5 if I could because these are all total nit-picks regarding the house itself: 1) the dishwasher was a pain in the butt as the wheels were trashed making it difficult to roll the rack out and in, especially with it fully loaded; 2) AC was great in the bedrooms but a huge temperature difference where the thermostat was located (hallway by the kitchen) leaving a solid 8-10 degree difference; 3) would have preferred a grill instead of a blackstone making it easier to grill steak and barbecue chicken the way we normally cook it; 4) the mini fridge and wine cooler downstairs was great but with the amount of people in the house, a 2nd full size fridge would've been better, we think; and finally 5) the master bedroom's wooden bed was really squeeky - like every time you got up and in the bed, it squeeked, and turning over at night it would make noise. Not a huge deal - any of these, but those would be the things to improve if there were any.

I hosted a private mental health retreat for 5 women and they were blown away. The view, the details of the decor, and the natural lighting set the tone beautifully for our time together. One attendee thanked me for choosing a space that was so relaxing to be in! Check in and check out was hassle free and there were so many appliances available for us to utilize and so much space! I will absolutely be hosting more retreats here and with Stay Lake Norman!

My husband and I loved this home, the view, location, amenities, and space provided, were just what we were looking for. A few minor things I might mention, to look to possibly change/update (and I promise I wouldn't write this is they weren't for safety reasons, overall the house is fabulous) - Provide a new/better can opener (the one provided doesn't cut evenly and can be cause for other cuts) - Might consider moving the table with the 3 items on it, behind the couch in the upstairs living room. We used the plug under the couch (very convenient), and when moving the couch the entire table knocked over. Either move everything back or the table could go against another wall. Definitely user error here too! - Provide mops/towels or some sort of cleaning mechanism for the screened in porch area downstairs. The severe weather we had caused everything in that room to get soaked and even damaged. When budget is available, would love to see the space enclosed. The rain on the floor made the room unable to be used (although I did find a small space to meditate while facing the lake)! - Cover for the ping pong table perhaps so it doesn't get as weathered. - Keep hot tub maintained, the screen kept flashing that the water needed changed! These are all very minor things, just wanted to provide some suggestions for the next guests! If you ever need a couple or family to test a place before you rent it out, please reach out! We'd be more than happy to oblige!! Thanks for all you do!

Normandy Approach was the perfect house for 3 couples on a long weekend visit to Charlotte. Nice floor plan, fully stocked kitchen (including a complimentary bottle of wine), hot tub, and beautiful dock. The house is conveniently located and close to dining, grocery, etc. A shout out to the management firm 'Stay Lake Norman'. Booking was easy and with many affiliate partnerships in place (boat rental, catering, etc), our vacation was hassle-free.

My family spent spring break at this beautiful property. Stay lake Norman was wonderful and so easy to work with. We rented a boat and spent hours on the dock. We had a easy drive to Carowinds for the day and coming back to a fire pit and hot tub was perfect. Highly recommend

Property met our expectations. Large trees provided shade and made it comfortable to be outside in the afternoon and evening. Inside was spacious and livable. I was impressed with the team that helped us. They communicated very well and did what they said they were going to do. This included the rental agents, the boat rental folks and the cleaning folks. We forgot something and they called us to see if we wanted the file they found and then mailed it to us promptly. Overall a good experience

We had a great time. There were 8 adults and 2 small children. The home met our expectations and was as promised! I believe that the great teams that run the business is a most significant strength of the company. This includes the home rental team, the boat rental team and the cleaning crew. We got to meet the cleaning team as we arrived and they were also very pleasant and helpful. Why was I impressed with the teams? Some strong points include excellent communications, they answered questions quickly, timely and on-going emails were sent with what we could expect and what we needed to do to help make our stay more enjoyable, they delivered as promised and were very helpful and nice to work with. From my perspective when teams perform at this level it gives comfort that the property will be at a high level and it was. I hope you enjoy your stay at Normandy Approach as much as we did.

The deck view of the lake was fantastic, lots of water activity to watch while having happy hour and waiting the sunset. Screened in porch was very nice and of course the hot tube was relaxing. First time in the Northern part of the lake and we really liked it. Would definitely return to this location and of course the StayLakeNorman staff was excellent.

Normandy Escape was a nice vacation getaway for our family. The layout of the house was comfortable and the outdoor space and dock were our favorite parts of the rental. The property was managed well and the management company was very professional. The only negative is that the kitchen was really tight for prepping meals and clean-up..

Everything was fantastic; house, amenities, information, etc. Minor inconvenience were the TV's, as they were a bit of a pain but were ok once you got used to the Roku boxes. Overall A+!

Although we have vacationed on Lake Norman many times before, this is our second stay with "Stay Lake Norman" and one of their properties. Just as before, when we arrived we were shocked to see the actual house was even nicer than the pictures online. The property is absolutely amazing, with the best lakefront setup we have seen to date. There is an enormous dock in deep water which was great for fishing, and a large fire pit in the backyard at the edge of the lake. Even with some pretty chilly weather, we had some unforgettable times sitting around the fire. Four of the trees in the backyard had installed hooks and we brought our hammocks, so setup took all of two minutes. The deck off the house is very large with a great hot tub as well. There is even a three season room under the deck with a pool table and a great space to hang out. The interior of the home left nothing to be desired, with the master being enormous, and a second master on the main floor being very spacious as well. Both bedrooms have deck access, and there are another two bedrooms downstairs. The rest of the house was flawless, with fantastic furniture and seating options. There was plenty of space for everyone and a warm feeling wherever we were in the house. As usual, the company was responsive with any questions, and we also rented a boat from them as we did on the previous trip. They had the boat waiting at the dock on the property and did an excellent walk through of the boat, again answering any questions we had. The house alone is reason enough to rent this property, but the fact that it is owned and operated by "Stay Lake Norman" seals the deal. They are a fantastic company that operates at the highest standards, making planning and taking a vacation so simple and straightforward. We look forward to continuing to rent from them and enjoying the beauty of Lake Norman.

We enjoyed our stay! Comfortable home and the setting was beautiful. We appreciated the use of the kayaks and paddle board. Also, not having to drive with extras like TP, hand soap, etc. was very helpful.
