Ringneck Retreat

We had a lovely, late October stay at Lake Norman. Our trip was short, but we had family from Utah, Ohio and Georgia. Our grandchildren enjoyed the pool. Each family had privacy and open areas to share. The staff were helpful and accommodating. Every areas was clean and well equipped. I hope we will be able to return. Highly recommend.

Ringneck Retreat was the perfect location to step away from reality and enjoy Lake Norman. We used this house as our 'hotel' for the weekend of the Coke 600 and it was great to be able to step away from work events and enjoy the lake and water. Monday being Memorial Day, was a great vacation day for me and the team. Highly reccomend this property and Stay Lake Norman. They were outstanding to work with, and we cant wait to stay with them again!

Our stay at Ringneck was wonderful! So quiet, relaxing and enjoyable! The house was perfect. I will add that the washer would not turn on. Hopefully, this will be fixed prior to the arrival of others visitors.

House was great. Pool was great. Hot tub was great. The lakeside dock and beach to rent boats and kayaks were great. The flat grille was amazing and we cooked most of our breakfasts, lunch and dinners on it. And best of all, since nothing is ever 100% perfect, the response from the Lake Norman staff was incredible. Top Notch. We had random questions that were answered immediately. We accidentally broke a coffee pot while cleaning at 5pm, and a new one was delivered 8am the next morning. I would totally recommend this house, and any other house that is managed by the Lake Norman staff!!

We stayed at Ringneck Retreat in mid October and had a lovely time. The house is beautiful and very well appointed. It is so relaxing looking at the lake through all the big windows and doors and lounging on the many comfy couches and chairs throughout the house. The heated pool was great - not too deep which was perfect for the kids. The hot tub was wonderful as well. The games and bunks downstairs were well enjoyed by the kids. We plan to return again!

We had a wonderful time at Ringneck Retreat. We are a family of 5 including 3 teenage boys. Everyone found something to do all day long. The house was stocked with everything we needed and when we had a question, Stay Lake Norman immediately answered. Thank you for helping us enjoy a wonderful fall break!

This beautiful home offers plenty of space with an outstanding location and a panoramic view of gorgeous Lake Norman. Plenty of amenities to stay entertained and large kitchen. Very attentive property managers to assure a great experience. Highly recommended.

Nice back to school getaway for my family. Great view and lots of things to do on the property. It was roomy, clean and well stocked. They were very responsive to any needs or minor concerns. We will visit again. Well worth the price.

We loved our stay here! There was 4 young adults (21-24), 2 parents and 2 dogs. All loved it! The pool, hot tub both got lots of human use and pups and humans loved lake swims! The place was well maintained and fit our family perfectly! Location was great too. We also rented a boat and that process was ease. We fell in love and will be back for sure! Note: this team who run the rental were great as well, very responsive! Thank you!

We loved our week at Ringneck Retreat. It was perfect for our family. The location, amenities, and beautiful lake kept our 5 grandkids busy. We brought our own boat “and toys”. The ease of immediate fun right out the back door was so accommodating. We thank StayLakeNorman for the constant communication and for making everything so easy. We look forward to returning.

Not only Ringneck Retreat is a beautiful property it is also located with-in 3 miles of a selection of grocery stories, shops and a variety restaurants. Even though your on a wide open portion of the Lake the backyard feels very private. The pool is a good size with a lot of outdoor seating areas. My favorite part of the day was enjoying a cup of coffee while watching the spectacular Sunrise from the Hot Tub. If I had to pick anything negative it would be that the Master Bedroom does not have a closet set up to hang clothes, so we had to use the entrance coat closet, and the Aluminum Deck can get hot during the middle of the day. Which both of these can be over looked after a day out on the Lake.

Ringneck Retreat was fantastic. Our family had a wonderful time during our week there. The boat was there waiting when we checked in. The pool was a great family gathering place. We loved spending time in this great retreat! It really has everything that you could want. The pool was warm, the hot tub was hot. The flat stone grill was a surprise to us but we loved cooking on it. We did french toast, bacon, steaks we even cooked our taco meat on it. The views from the upper deck are amazing and we all loved our time just being together as a family.

We had a family union at this property. This is our second year in a stay lake Norman property and we were very pleased. The added addition of having a pool this year we really liked. We will be renting again from stay at lake Norman.

The Ringneck Retreat was amazing! The views from the kitchen and back side of the house are amazing. The home has something for everyone in the family. The kitchen has absolutely everything you need. Due to COIVD19, we did not use much of the supplies, but the owners have thought of absolutely everything. Our 6-year old twins loved the lower level. They played basketball, watched TV from the upper bunk beds and enjoyed the easy access to the outside. They were disappointed that the pool was not ready to use for our Spring Break. However, they enjoyed remote control boat play on the pool. I cleaned the home myself but it was clear I was using "extreme caution" because the home very clean. There was more than enough clean towels and a very well designed laundry room. There are three beautifully decorated large bedrooms and the entire home is decorated in a very appealing way. The lower level can become cool to cold in the evenings. The owners thought to address this as well. There are heaters available when needed. We did not discover the heaters right away, but they easily increased the comfort of the space once we found them.

Every corner of this home was amazing! So glad we found it. Perfectly nestled on the lake with views from every room and enough space for the entire family to enjoy each other and still have their privacy. The hot tub and fire pit were a plus during our winter rental perfect for the weather. We will most definitely be coming back. The entire family including our teenage girls, who's cruise we had to cancel loved it!
